That’s a Stowa, from Germany. They make yours when you order it. (If you buy direct from them). I have one. Classy and classic

A German Flieger from Stowa. https://www.stowa.de/en/Flieger/
I got blues hands put on it when I sent it back for service.
Stowa isn’t high end, they just make cases and dials and set in off-the-shelf movements. They sell the rhodium dial on their Prodiver as well.

I would love the board's recommendations on their favorite watches at the moment. I am trying to stay under 8k.
I really like the Tudor Black Bay line, I own the 36 as my every day watch, but really like the aesthetic of most of that line (the "regular" Black Bays are 41mm and chunky so that may or may not work for you depending upon wrist size). I also really like the Pelagos (again more on the chunky side).

I would also look into Grand Seiko. They have some interesting movements (Spring Drive, High Beat, etc...) and have high quality finishing. This is one of my favorites from them (SBGJ201):

First, I like both watches but I would pick the Good Planet GMT for a couple of reasons.
You have the dressy to casual well covered as well as the black and black and white/silver dial covered. So the blue with the orange accents is quite different.
You don't really have a more obvious tool watch.
I am biased since the Planet Ocean Good Planet GMT is my favorite Planet Oceans and honestly one of my favorite watches that I own (mine is on bracelet). The 43.5mm size is the Goldilocks for me in the PO case size. It is always the first watch I pick for what I am carrying on vacation.
The watches are so different I don't see any point in comparing movements, sizes, etc. The only thing to note is the PO is going to wear much more like a hockey puck than any of your others, well depending on which Speedmaster you have.
I don't think you can go wrong here. BTW I don't keep up with the Omega discontinuations that well but is the Good Planet still available new?

Maybe a Grand Seiko SBGA211 "Snowflake"? The mirror hands and indices are similar to the JLC that you like. The JLC's dial is a little cluttered for me personally but that's subjective. But the GS has all the same features, just without putting them on subdials

I have two similar JLCs to the one in your OP - a Master Control Calendar Triple Date 140.8.87 (month and day window, numeric date hand and sub seconds at 6 o'clock) and a Master Control 140.8.89 (center seconds, date window at 3 o'clock). Both from the early 2000's and I believe the case diameter on those watches are 38 mm - both probably should be serviced, but I haven't gotten around to it. I'm pretty sure those watches are now 40 mm. Both are excellent choices with a suit or sport coat, or even more casual. Just classic watches. Both of mine have the gold master control medallion case back - I think the newer ones have a sapphire back and as mentioned are a tad bigger.
I had the chronograph version of that Omega, and I can tell you it is big, and wears even larger. It is not a very comfortable watch on the wrist, but looks great in photos and in the box. I traded mine (pre liquid metal bezel model) for a Tudor Black Bay Heritage a couple of years ago. I have the 42 mm version of the Planet Ocean diver (c. 2011 w/ aluminum bezel) which is a great looking watch that never seems to make it into my rotation a whole lot. I had it serviced in 2019 and switched dials from the Rhodium 6,9,12 to the orange Arabics at 6,9,12.
The RDM version of the JLC in the OP is much like my triple date in that it has a lot going on with that dial, but is a great looking watch, had I been buying for myself, I would have chosen the MC RDM over the Triple Date. Quality is superb and it is what I would call an under the radar piece. The only time reserve model I own is a GO Senator Power Reserve Moon Phase, and it definitely needs servicing as the power reserve is no longer functional. But that is one of my favorite complications.
No photos right now - fototime is down I suppose as I can't get to it from my office, but I'll put some up if it comes back up today.

I wouldl go with the Jaeger. I almost jumped on one a few years ago and wish I did. Was looking at the Rolex Cellini, Omega Tresor, and JL

This is a really nice trio, nice to see the Aquanaut hiding unassumingly on the side. I picked up a green strap when it became a thing but before it was discontinued and John Mayer's comments sent the prices up near $5,000 for two pieces of rubber. It is still sealed sitting in my strap folder as I get queasy every time I think of cutting it to size. Plus it may be the biggest PITA in all of watches to change the strap and the bracelet is even harder, my AD actually sends them to Stern in NYC for changes.
Your entire collection is worth more than you paid for it by a long shot (near twice) if you only paid retail.

Have you tried it on the OE rubber? I tend to be a bracelet person but I tried the rubber and especially on the 42mm POs the wearability went WAY up. I have the orange aluminum bezel version and I put it in the black strap with orange stitching and have never gone back to the bracelet. Compared to the bracelet I barely notice it on my wrist.

Wow, just wow.
Like you would turn down a Birkin or Kelly bag... that is if you were a woman.

Thank you very much. Yes, thankfully I got them all at my AD for retail. Crazy about the green strap prices, well done getting them!
On a separate note, I really want to know your profile name on TRF

Wow, this is actually a good watch thread with many angles that I can take. You have a Maurice LaCroix already. I stick with 1 or 2 dress watches. You have 1 already and could possibly throw the Air King in the mix already. The Speedy pro is iconic and I HIGHLY approve of your choice there. The Jaeger is smaller and thinner but a beautiful watch. But if I was in your same position, I think I would pick the PO because you don't really have what I would consider a Jean and Dress watch (Watch Idiot Savants call it a tool watch). And I think you need one of those in your rotation. You'll notice a difference in heft and weight and I would seriously go try one on before you purchase just to make sure you have a good grasp of what you'll be wearing on a daily basis.

And I told you Watch Idiot Savants use the shite out of this word!

Dude we gave the same recommendation almost for the same exact reason too. 42mm-44mm is my sweet spot.

WUS as well.
I haven't been active on either one for a while. I go and come but I sometimes get too caught up. I actually posted my WUS info on here once but deleted it later when I realized that the information I had posted on both sites together would dox me. While I don't really care if people know who I am I am not comfortable with the security issues.

No worries
We've emailed before and you've been very helpful. I just wanted to see if you ever posted your entire collection there and watch the jaws drop

How do those sellers like LawrenceB and DavidSW get their stock?

Could be from AD's themselves buy bundling desirable pieces with less desirable pieces, particularly in large numbers. Also come from gray market "wholesalers" who use relationships with dealer(s) to do the same thing mentioned above, but generally on a somewhat smaller scale.
Lose a little on some filler pieces to grab a piece they will move for way over retail. Middle-man makes some bucks on first transaction and final seller makes even more vig. Dealer moves stuff that would otherwise stagnate with the stuff that files out of the store.
