The CreepyPasta stuff doesn’t really get me like the true shite or the strange true crime stuff. There’s a few that are documented, have verified police reports, and are just unexplainable. A few that are odd:

He said the next week his CO brought in the proper authorities to blow the damn thing up. The story did not end there. They went to check the site immediately after (to make sure there was no way in hell a fire could start) and in the middle of where the floor had been, they saw three or four holes near where the table and chair was. Now due to the explosion the holes had caved in, but the authorities said that with some of the wood they collected, it was possible that near the table and chairs, thinner wood was used to where they could fall through into the holes. They didn't find anything in the holes after digging them up again, but from how different the densities in the soil was, they could tell that the holes were built to be about six feet deep. Moral of the story, animals aren't the only hunters out there. If you see something too unnatural or too perfect to be true, don't instagram it, run.

That's the poster Michael J Cocks and his army buddies. They are in a hollowed out building in (I think) Afghanistan. There are only like three of them (maybe four) in that video. But at the beginning of it you can see what looks like several people (an adult and small children) holding hands and walking in front of them, and later walking up the stairs in front of them. But according to MJC, there were no other people there, just him and his buddies. So the shadow things that you see walking in front and up the stairs are not actual people. So what are they?
There was a long thread about it back when he first brought it to the board, with screenshots, lightening of the video/screenshots, etc. We analyzed it for a while. I don't believe in ghosts, but admit that it definitely looks like something is walking ahead of them in the video. MJC swears that nobody else was there (I believe him). So the question was what is it?

I have a story I don’t necessarily consider it scary but just kind of weird.
Me and a buddy were in our early 20’s and bass fishing a canal in February or March several years ago. This canal had several houses and camps along the canal. The canal bank didn’t have sea walls and the yards would just gradually slope into the canal.
We were in his bass boat so he is working the trolling motor and I’m fishing the back. I look ahead of us along the bank and see something large what looks to be floating at the water’s edge. We get about 75 yards from it and I bring it to my buddies attention because it’s moving like some kind of animal. Maybe a large dog or nutria or something.
Then we get close enough to realize it’s a human in the water. The best way to describe it is it looked just like the girl from the Ring. She was on her hands and knees in about 1ft. water with her head towards the canal and arse towards the bank. Long black and grey hair that was wet and covering her face wearing a white nightgown that was also soaked.
My buddy is the scary type so he starts freaking out saying let’s get the frick out of here! I told him we can’t leave she might be old and needs help, bring me over to her and I’ll help her out the water. He wouldn’t pull me up to her in the boat, he let me out on land a few feet from her then I walked over to help. I’m standing there trying to get her out of the water and saying let me help you. She never responds or even acknowledges I’m there. Just kind of doing a low moan and doing a swaying motion. Keep in mind her position in the water so I grab her foot and pull her onto the bank. She kind of starts to get up and I didn’t want to be standing next to her vulnerable so I jump back in the boat and say go get in the house and dry off. As were trolling off and talking about how crazy it was we look back and she was gone. We figured she just got to the house quickly.
I always found it peculiar that I couldn’t make out her face during this entire interaction. Even though it only lasted a minute or so I’m within feet of her but between the wet hair and her never acknowledging me I never really saw her face.
Fast forward a few months I see another buddy that happens to live on that canal. I ask him about the lady and explain which house this was at and he said there is no lady that lives there or any of the houses around that stretch.

This happened probably 3-4 years ago and still freaks me out when we talk about it. I was in West Texas for work, my then fiancé was at the house, alone other than our 3 dogs. It wasn't too late, maybe 8-9pm. I live on about 3 acres, and the house is set off in the back, so it's not just a normal neighborhood setting. Well, one night she called me having a complete panic attack saying someone just came up to the house and walked around it. I was kind of in the "yeah okay, probably heard a coon or possum" state of mind so I tied to calm her down.
She then told me that one of my dogs was losing his mind barking, which I again told, her he probably saw a coon possum or a cat on the porch. She was still freaking, and then she told me what had happened and I lost it. Our male oldest dog was going ape shite, had jumped on the kitchen counter and was barking, showing teeth, growling and scratching at the window above my sink, so whatever he saw, was human height. She said she froze, in movies you always see shite like this and just think to yourself, "oh yea I'd grab my pistol and run out there", but she said she was paralyzed with fear. Well she muted whatever she was watching and heard footsteps on the porch stop right behind the big picture window behind the couch. At this time my dog was leaning up against her looking out the window literally right behind her losing his mind. She said it felt like 10 minutes, (probably only a few seconds) until she heard the guy run off. I immediately Facetimed her and showed her how to load my shotgun, and had my buddy from down the street come walk the property.
Still fricks with me thinking my dog may have saved a pretty bad situation by just being there and being protective. As soon as I got home that following week, went and bought 2 pistols, went to the range and taught her some things about pistols.
