I did read an "ending" to it before

Thanks - that's what I was referring to.

I assumed there was nothing more but read that someone else posted an "ending" so was curious about it.

Not this thread again. I was hoping for a good night's sleep tonight, and I feel compelled to read this.

I just listen to the podcast while driving. The stories they have usually don't suck (though I have skipped a few) and I can do other things while listening

I'm actually from, and still live in Franklinton. But my gf is from the Hermie, lol

I dated a girl from Mt Hermon. Her mom taught or was librarian at the high school there years ago. Maybe still is. I'd name drop but I'm sure you'd know them and the peeps I know from Frank town.

I still think that story way back on page 1 or 2 of the guy driving upon the Satanic setup in the road is the freakiest story.

The first 10 pages had some good and relatively short ones. However, pen pals still best I think.

shite like that is why I carry a gun. I drive a pretty desolate road about 3 days a week. Always creeps me out for some reason.

This story was told to me by my sister. About 9 months after our Dad passed away, my sister (who lived with her husband and two little girls) had a dream about our Dad. In the dream, she saw Dad walking through her house, and he motioned for her to follow him.

He walks in to the kitchen and stands in front of her refrigerator and starts pointing at something on the top left corner. She asked him what he was pointing at and he just looked at her and kept pointing to the refrigerator.

When she woke up the next morning, her first thought was to go see what Dad was pointing at. (She was thinking it might have been a photo of her kids). When she gets to the refrigerator, she sees a business card from a Tree Service that had given her an estimate to remove a large oak tree that was right behind her house. (Before Dad died he had been after her to get that tree cut)

So, she called the Tree Service and they came out to cut the tree down. Two days later, a bad storm blew through her area with straight line winds causing trees and power lines to be knocked down. She was very grateful that Dad had some inside information that saved her from having a tree on her house!

The one with the rooms is the best one, I think. It was very descriptive and well-written.

Penpals for some reason didn't do anything for me at the end unless I missed something.

It was creepy as hell and very well written. We all did the balloon shite in school but this dudes balloon ended up in the hands of a sociopathic pedophile that stalked him in order to torment him for 12 or so years. fricked up.

I definitely got some goosebumps from this.

I read the cave story also and honestly tried to click on the 'Next' button like 20 times thinking my computer was linking up. ugh!

ETA: Anyone mind telling me page numbers for good ones past like page 6?

Why didn't you like it?

Spoilers...

I thought it was awesome that this sociopath stalked this kid for years and even went to lengths to take him with him as he killed himself, only for it to not be the kid, but his friend.

And a lot of the story came around full circle in the end. Just a really well-written and engaging story IMO.

Honestly, I'd recommend reading the whole thread. At the very least, just skim the pages and you'll see when stories or links are posted.

This thread is really good, and there are good ones posted throughout the whole thing.

Just my $0.02.

I can't remember what page it's on or if it's even linked in this one, but it's the one where the guy wakes up or is dreaming and he goes to a house and there is a number on the door. He opens it and he enters a room. He has to find the next door to proceed...as he progress, each room gets more demented and weird. It's a pretty good mind frick.

I'll try to find and link it.

As far as Penpals...SPOILERS

I guess what disappointed me was that the guy wasn't the narrators father. I was expecting the stalker to be his dad...what with the "I LOVE YOU" notes and all the pictures and stuff. I was expecting some kind of full circle connection to the narrator.

Oh yeah, the haunted house one. That one was decent.

Ah. Not sure why you'd think that though, but to each his own. IMO it was clearly some psychopath stalker dude from the start.

For the guy above..another one that I remember being prety solid was the "Woke up in Chicago with amnesia" one. It is a multi-parter, and has two (or three, can't remember) "stories" in the overall plot.

I can remember which ones were related, but a simple google search should yield that. It's about the black goo growth shite that takes over that apartment building or something like that.

Start here: LINK I think that one actually may link the other one as well. Be sure to get them in the right order before reading though.

Also, 1300 posts over 2+ years, and still incredibly on topic.

Nice.
