The stories play to fears deep down inside of us and they are realistic enough.. So they're creepy. Everyone can relate to walking down the street at night and seeing something weird.
The voice of God experiment story was freaky just because of how intense the idea of it was. shite got real.

Here's a couple of my own. Ever since I was a child I have been able to see things that my parents or brothers never could. Every time one of these encounters happen I first start getting goose bumps and my eyes water and then It never fails that I see something.
First encounter I was maybe 9 yrs old and I was asleep in my bed it was around 2-3 am and all of a sudden I awake and I am a very heavy sleeper. I look at the foot of the bed and I see a 6-7 ft grey looking being that had horns on its head red eyes and was a few inches off the ground. Had long claws like a bear and was holding a spear like weapon staring right into my eyes. As a kid I didn't know what I was seeing so I just went right back to sleep.
One night I was listening to a tape recording and while it was playing it started to make very unusual sounds that sounded demonic and evil. Very distorted and couldn't make out the words. Later that night while I am asleep I happen to open my eyes and see a dark figure moving in the hallway. Fell back asleep and about 30 min later re open my eyes to one of the most horrific demonic looking faces. I was laying on my back and it's face was maybe 2 inches away. I ran out of my room and turned on every damn light in the house that night.
Third and most recent I would say maybe two months ago. Driving back home around midnight and decided to take the back road because I would get home quicker. There are no light poles so with out headlights it is completely dark. As I was driving I looked to my right and saw a 7-8. Ft figure standing right by the pasture fence looking my way. As I approached the red light I kept going and didn't look back.

Not by any means.. cave story and crazy joker guy were scary and I even had a nightmare about one. But when a poster says "wow, I never heard anything on the news about that cave story!" it's kind of silly. The guy who did that was pretty legit and I am impressed by his photos and dedication.
