My company reimburses a % of money spent on fitness. I plan on getting a gym membership next year and using that. But I want to take advantage of this year's reimbursement as well. Any recommendations?

I was thinking of getting a few Kettle bells or a set of those dumbbells where you can change the weight settings. But I wanted to see if the OT had any other suggestions.

My apartment is pretty small so I can't do a power rack, stationary bike or anything like that.

I'm looking into both cardio equipment (like a compact rowing machine) or weights.

TIA

Rogue offers wall mount collapsible racks. I did this in my room and when I'm done they fold back flush with the wall. I stand the barbell up in the corner and stack the rubber plates standing up. Have a concept 2 tower as well that stores easily when tilted up.

^ this. those compact fold-up power racks are definitely the way to go if I ever do a home gym. I'd be more worried about flooring though.

Concept 2 rower

Stories upright and takes up minimal space

Or get a ski erg

One of those and a kettle bell and that's all you really need

Buy a set of resistance bands on amazon, a pull up bar, and p90x3 DVDs.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone

While I'd love that wall mount power rack, I don't know if I'd have a good spot for it plus I don't want to risk messing up the wood floors.

But yall have given some solid ideas.

I have a garage gym and have went through a bunch of equipment. Seriously look at the list and choose from it.

Honestly if I was you I would get the assualt air fan bike. Its an amazing bike and by far the best on the market of its type. You will be able to use it for HiiT or for lower speed long distance riding while watching tv.
