My drivers side door on my Silverado is stuck shut... I assume the linkage by the door latch broke off, but now my door is stuck shut and I can’t open it from the inside or the outside.. after about an hour on google, I’ve found nothing, so can the OT help me out??

I’ve pulled apart the door panel as far as possible but can’t take it all the way off.. it’s still connected close to my dashboard but since the door won’t open, I can’t get all of the bolts out

Just read a blog with a guy having the same problem. He pealed the door skin back as far as he could, reached in and grabbed the cable and had someone pull the outside handle.
Good luck.

I found this in a forum. It sounds like this had the same issue and solved the problem.
