Need some help from the OT regarding a stolen debit card number

This may be TL/DR for some but it has my britches in a bunch. 2 Thursdays ago I get an alert from my bank that my debit card was declined in Temple TX at a Dominos Pizza. Being that I'm not from there I started with the detective work. I found out who has my card number @rayyswervo and called the police in Austin, TX. He does these things called Pizza Plugs and uses stolen cards for the transactions. Anyway, Austin PD refuses to do anything about it. Is there another recourse I have to get this punk? I know he's in high school and there are tons of people orering pizza from him every night. Nothing I hate worse than a thief. Thanks all.

Have you considered canceling your card?

But they had better not catch you jaywalking or driving 5 mph over the speed limit.

I'm gonna need your social, date of birth, name of your first pet, and mother's maiden name.
Then I can clear everything right up for you.

I would've picked a better place with someone else buying.

this is why debit cards are stupid and only for people who cant be bothered to check balances and pay their bills
get a damn credit card like adults do and you are fully protected and any bad charges to it cost you a penny if your card number gets stolen
if you have a bank account you can get a credit card, no matter how bad our credit is, so any excuses why you dont have a credit card is just that, excuses

In my experience with this there is not much you can do about it. Thus s why I rarely use my debit card anymore except for cash withdrawals.

The scammer who places the order, who is likely based in a foreign country and beyond the reach of the law, pockets $10 while the restaurant takes the hit.

Not this one. I put his twitter handle in the OP. What these dumbasses don't realize is that when you order from Dominos the card holder gets an email. (if they have an account) I knew where they went right away. Called all 3 of the people who got pizza that night and they gave up this punk in Austin. He blocked me on twitter and then blocked my phone.

Forward his info to your bank's internal security department. If they care enough to recoup their losses, they can go after him.
