You wear them everyday. Everyday for years.

What is the appeal of wearing the same pair everyday? Because for the same price I could buy 4 or 5 pairs, which combined would also last me years, with the added benefit of being able to change clothes.

Because if you buy good raw denim it lasts 5-6 years if you don’t get fat as shite.

You can buy $30 levis that last that long. And even if you wear them every day for a year, you can buy a new pair every year for about the same price or less.

But you have to live with knowing you're wearing inferior cooked denim.

Because they break in and fit you where every crease is your own. You don't wash them, and they fade on the crease lines to produce a custom look depending on your wear habits.

They are thicker than typical jeans and come a tad smaller, so they end up stretching to your frame and just plain fit better than prewashed jeans.

I sort of respect that you are OCD about this stuff, but that's super gross wearing the same thing every day without washing them.

$200 isn't that much for raw denim. I want to go slowly though, I hope to be able to appreciate the quality difference from my Unbranded...if I bought $350 jeans now I'm not sure I'd 'get it'. I'll wear some $200 jeans for a few years then look at my options.

You DO wash them, just not for 6 months or so...then VERY rarely.

Maybe you could find a job if you didn't wear the same jeans every day

I wear my jeans many days without washing them, but you are either extreme prissy or extremely disgusting for not washing them for months on end. I don't know how you would not have them stained as hell after a couple months.

The bacterial load doesn't seem to go up after the first week or so, I guess only so many can live in the fixed space. Most denim "freaks" just freeze them once a month or so.

It's a different type of fabric than your jeans, they are very dense. You can spot wash them. You can flip them inside out and soak them...but even after a year your bathtub will be stained with dye.
