That's kinda fun. Reminds me of a costume I did one year that allowed me to engage with others. I went as the bachelor...just wore a suit and bought a dozen roses I offered out. And had some envelopes for fantasy suite. I was single at the time so it was great.

I had to do a tobacco count late one Halloween, and I wore a suit. Halfway through the count I asked the guys in the warehouse if they heard something, and when they said no, I said "Louis Lane must be in danger!" And opened the suit for a Superman costume. One thought it was hilarious, other dude thought I was a raging dumbass.

Saw a couple dressed as Dora the Explorer and Diego. They were not Mexican but they were both short so pulled it off pretty well.

I wore a flannel, hat, jeans, boots and she wore an outfit that looked like something Joanna would wear.
People probably wouldn’t have gotten it right away, which is why we made two poster boards with a drawing of our house and the fixer upper logo, that could be pulled apart for the house reveal.
It wasn’t the best costume, but we looked vaguely like them and it was when we were heavy into a renovation of a 100+ YO house, so it seemed fitting.

It's somehow become the night for women to take any costume or person and turn it into a total slutty version of that thing. Love to see it.
The scenery for Halloween when I lived in Chicago was top notch, and hasn't dipped that much down here considering the College of Charleston is back and the weather is always warm that night
