Chances are you do have "supervisory" experience even though you didn't have the title.

Have you ever trained someone on a job or part of a job? If so, that's supervisory.

You need to look at the job description of the job you are applying for and determine how your skill set and previous job allow you to perform those duties.

In other words, frame your past experience in supervisory language.

Good luck!

If you helped train new baws, definitely mention that. Supervising and training go hand in hand.

Also, if you ‘owned’ any particular duties that only you were responsible for, I’d mention those

100%, absolutely correct. It's wordplay at this point.

This.

You have, at some point or another, done the same duties that a supervisor has done. Think of any times you may have worked with anyone else. Any extra duties you have ever done outside your usual scope. Mention any and all positive experiences when you have worked with 2 or more other coworkers on a project.

At my job a few of questions they love to ask supervisory candidates are:

1. Tell us about a time when you went above and beyond for the sake of your team/company?

2. What was your biggest accomplishment at any of your previous employers and how did you or your team contribute to the final result?

3. How would you handle problems among employees under your supervision?

Just get in the mindset of how you'd answer questions like this and like the other posters said, make sure to point out any training/other supervisory duties you may have conducted and try to frame it in the best light possible.

Echoing what others have said. Frame your experience in a way that can be considered as having functioned like a supervisor.

Other things I have read on this board are to be sure to emphasize safety culture, and any safety classes you have completed.
