Need help finding a place in Jackson, MS

If anyone knows a private landlord in the Jackson Area I would greatly appreciate the help. Being denied by all the major national properties because credit screening. Never been evicted nor do I have poor rent history. Company called Rent Safe & Rent Grow is denying me for prior charged off accounts I had when I was in my teens and early 20’s. (I’m 29 now)
It’s me, my fiancé and pet cat.
My company is handling my move. So I can pay whatever for security. First three months upfront if need be. Also autopay. Need to move in by next week or somewhat soon to that.
(PS I know I’ll get the dumb Jackson jokes. I went to Mississippi College, I know about the area and etc. I got my dream jobs and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity or the money.)
If anything good comes of this thank you in advance.

FYI read about their current water crisis. They routinely don't have running water (Even the nicest apartments and neighborhoods). Look into Madison County and Rankin County.

Then I take it you already know to be looking in Brandon, Ridgeland, Clinton, or Flowood

It would help your cause if you didn't have a pet. Most landlords don't want pets, so if someone with an equal credit score to you applies for the same place, they will pick the tenant without the pet 10/10 times.

Don’t even bother locking your car doors.

How MANY charged off accounts? If you just up and walked away from like 6 or more credit cards and loans, they can see that in your history. And you don't deserve a place to live. until they all fall off your credit.
I didn't have THAT much trouble finding a place to rent a mere 3 years after filing bankruptcy. Shady boy!

Let your fiancee apply. Maybe she was financially responsible in her younger years.

1 Old phone bill, 2 old bank accounts, 1 gym membership and a cable bill. Not even totaling 1k. I move to California a year ago and had serval high end complex throwing deals at me left and right. No clue why I’m having so much trouble now but it’s been fustrating. So no shady business. I’m all up front. Just trying to find help if I can.

Do Airbnb and test different areas.

That doesn't make sense then. Have you tried larger complexes in Jackson that are owned by national companies with looser screening?
Like in Baton Rouge a few nice established complexes are a MFer to get approved but newer nationally owned complexes are much easier to get approved.

Buy a gun. Or three. Jackson is a war zone. Ran by an extremist mayor.

Most complex’s use those two companies I referenced to do their credit screening. I’ve tried just about everyone. Just hoping I can find a private landlord who understands my situation. Once those screening come back denied these complexes won’t budge no matter what you offer

If it’s under $1,000, why don’t you go pay them off and clean up your credit? Assuming you didn’t file bankruptcy.
