Need a recommendation for a beard trimmer...

So I grew this thing on my face and now it is getting a little scraggly...what's the OT's go-to beard trimmer these days?

Almost any trimmer like Oster or Wahl will do the trick, but it's best to get the trimmer with the different size cutting head adaptors to trim it to the length you like.

have your barber do it when you get a cut, he will have it looking right

They're all pretty much the same, just make sure you get a rechargeable one. First one I bought ran on batteries and sucked. I think ti was a Wahl. I have a Norelco one now that works fine the one time a week I use it.

Wahl rechargeable with different size guards. The ones with 1 adjustable guard suck.

I’ve gone through a few dozen trimmers through the years and most of those available at Walmarks, Walgreens, et al are marginal at best. Currently using Wahl Lithium Ion +. Best I’ve found lately.

If you’re a member of Costco, they have one made by Phillips Norelco. I’ve only had it for a week, but I’m very happy with it so far. Paid around $50.

That’s what I’ve had for a few years now. Found one that’s all stainless with no plastic parts aside from the guards. It’s the best I’ve ever owned. Would recommend.

I pay sport clips 5 bucks to do it every couple of weeks.

Andis Cordless T-Outliner (buy it on amazon though)
or depending on if its a long beard
Andis Envy Cordless
Andis outliner is really the go to. You will see one or the corded version at almost every barber station in the country.

That’s the one I have. It cuts really well w/o the guards but not nearly as well with them on.

I will second this. I've been through several other brands and styles. This one is far and away the best I've bought.

Did you read what you quoted?

Conair used to make a pretty good one. Went through a few of those but the last one I bought had some changes to the cutting blades/guard and it was junk. Avoid Conair.
