Being that no one was struck directly, I doubt anyone would have heard about it.

I would like to know what happened and what are they doing to fix and ensure this doesn’t happen again.

I truly believe the noise had something to do with it. Theater was so loud the chairs were vibrating. I like it loud but this was uncommon.

You should’ve crawled under the beam and acted like you were all messed up.

A large piece of metal, most likely a support structure for the lighting, had fallen from the ceiling and obliterated the chair next to a couple. The woman’s purse was in the chair.

Pics?

I hate fricking going to movies in the theater.

I mean the talking during the movie, cell phones going off, prices, etc are bad enough, but now beans falling out of the ceiling too?

That’s crazy. That is actually the best movie theater around. We are going to take our grandsons (10,5) to see the goosebumps movie tonight there. I’m glad nobody was injured

Good, gooooood. Post it all here to properly document the mental trauma for the upcoming lawsuit.

And the first half of Venom was quite good, for those wondering.

So they made you leave? Hell the ceiling already fell, what are the odds it happens again? Gotta be astronomical.

Should've finished the movie.

Not anymore. They need to close that theater for a building inspection.

Did you take a picture of the carnage?

Peterson would describe this as a snake of chaos that entered the walled garden of order. Did you take the time to act heroic in front of your wife?

I didn’t and wish I had just to show people how large the piece of metal was and the damage it did upon impact.

It all happened so fast. It was also dark and very loud since the movie was still playing. My wife was convinced something else was going to fall and we left pretty soon after it happened.

I went back in for one more look just to see it again and then the staff quickly ushered us out the theater.

I emailed the theater and will be following up with them in a few days if I don’t hear from them. I really want three thing:
1. An explanation of what happened.
2. How they fixed it.
3. An assurance steps are in place to prevent this from happening again.
