For me the game doesn't have the energy it once had. The rules changes targeting defensive play in the early 2000s really turned the sport into an offense-only game. I miss the days of hard-fought games that challenged players. Today I find the NBA to be borderline unwatchable.

I say this as someone who’s very conservative, I really don’t think shitty politics have as much to do with it as the guys who are star players. They either look like a bunch of effeminate figs a la Steph Curry or they look like gargantuan retards who have a boring game. The personalities are generally awful too where the league is filled with phony nice guys with no personality or very dumb low IQ hood rats who only want to frick Kardashians.
There’s just nothing there to create interest. No shite talk, no aggressiveness, no real competitive spirit, bunch of crybaby queer players, etc etc. Bring back MJ, Kobe, and Larry Bird personalities and games and watch the sport take off again
