The parents are going in front of a judge today and need to be put under the jail
The kid needs to be taken away from them in handcuffs until he’s 21, then put in a mental institution after that

What are the chances this kid will be either dead or in prison by the age of 25?

The father was just on WWL radio with Tommy Tucker. They have a 14 year old also that is in some kind of boy’s home. They also have a nine year old. Tommy asked what he could do differently with the nine year old to make sure this didn’t happen again. He said something to the effect that he would text him more often to check in on him. At this rate the nine year old will be smashing windows in a neighborhood near you soon.

The dad was just on 870 am for like 40 minutes. He said things went downhill when they let their son go play bucket drums and tap dance on Bourbon for money and the wrong people started influencing him. I'm not sure why he thought it was ok to start letting his kid go down there at 9-years-old. No common sense.
Surprisingly, the dad didn't sound like the typical parent who denies everything and doesn't give a sh*t. He just sounded ignorant. He said he cooks at a restaurant and sometimes works from 6 am - 12 at night, so he can't be there as much as he wants because he has to support the family (they have two other sons too). Ultimately though, it's their fault for letting their kid go in an environment like that at a young age.

I’m sure it’s just a phase he’ll grow out of. We all went through it.

His dad also said he thinks there is something mentally wrong with his son Diego.

The dad is pretty pathetic. He states he is a good father, he has only spent 7 days in jail therefore he is the next Ward Cleaver

He was trying to pay off student loan debt from private school.

Hopefully his parents taught him right and he takes his charge without snitching

The radio interview was a classic. Truly a sad commentary on the state of affairs in the NOLA area.
