Why not lessen the symptoms when you get it AND get the benefit of antibodies? Seems like best of both worlds
Because the vaccine may permanently alter (weaken) innate immune respones to other viruses.

The issue has always been that for some people natural infection without some immunity from a vaccine could be extremely harmful. Close to half of Americans are obese and that is a major comorbidity that can cause issues if you’re building immunity through natural infection.
And, yet, the CDC remains eerily silent about people losing weight. Could it be, self-discipline doesn’t line Big Pharma’s pockets?

I've had covid and I've had the vaccine (and now booster). Delta made its way through our office like a brush fire back in August. I was one of the 4 out of 17 who didn't get it. I'm still standing after Omicron recently came through our office with the same veracity and knocked out unvaxxed, vaxxed and previously-infected alike. The only other person who has had covid and the vaccine made it through both mass casualty events with me. Who knows?
I’ve had Covid and not had the vaccine, and I made it through both “mass casualty” events as well. Who knows?

But it seems pretty silly to me to willingly want to get it without the vaccine first.
Because you're a brainwashed idiot

Hell, the CDC's new recommendations to help curb the diabetes problem is for people to......start regularly testing their blood sugar earlier.

What exactly is the problem here?

Protection against Delta was highest, however, among people who were both vaccinated and had survived a previous COVID infection,
Here you go. THIS IS IN THE SECOND frickING PARAGRAPH.

You think self-discipline is all it takes? The metabolic profile of the body changes significantly, and at a population level, given our obesity rates, we are absolutely fricked. FWIW, there are a USPSTF guidelines about weight management that should be addressed at the primary care level.

Like you are the enemy. Nothing about how you can help protect or treat yourself
Before you get sick enough for the hospital.
Masks & social isolation have not worked. Why shove teh vaccines so hard? They work on variants symptoms that are in the rear mirror but don’t stop transmission.
It’s insanity squared.

They have spent nearly two years following with blind faith. It’s not easy to accept your religious beliefs may be flawed. So rather than take a deep breath and accept that could be the case they simply just believe harder
