I don't think so. I think it would be a heck of an event if they did let him back in

he wouldn't sign to only compete with Major League Eating (I think that is the name of it) which Nathan's hotdog eating contest is a part. He wanted to be able to enter whatever competition he wanted. I wonder if he still live streams himself at the same time as the contest. I know he did that a few years ago and ate more than anybody else

Contract dispute

quote:

On June 28, 2010, Kobayashi announced he would not compete in the Nathan's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Competition. The impasse was reportedly due to the MLE's insistence that Kobayashi signed an exclusive contract with the organization that would prevent him from competing in contests not sanctioned by MLE.[38]

Adrian Morgan from New Orleans will be competing today.

Adrian's a guy, by the way, so no pic needed.

Props to these guys. The idea of eating a soggy hotdog bun, let alone 50+ of them makes me cringe.

Somewhat controversial thread title given that its not really the 100th anniversary has been in the news.

Kobaishi would own Chestnut if he were allowed back in.

MLE needs to let the man compete in whatever he wants. Stop taking themselves so damn seriously.

Love the intros for what each player eats and win at other competitions though
