Is there for cyclists too enjoy a safe ride, not be nailed by some a-hole.

I have logged 10s of thousands of miles on this same road on my bike over the last 20 years and there is almost never any traffic. Ever. Takes 5 seconds to safely pass a cyclist and maybe 10 on the every every slight chance a car is coming from the other direction.
Good job. Do you want a cookie? It also takes 5 seconds to move over to the side of the road giving the MUCH bigger and MUCH faster vehicle more room to go around. It seems to me you would want more room between you and a vehicle, no?

I haven't acted that way. Sooooooooo.....

Well, at least one of them seems to demonstrate a strained relationship with the truth. Not sure how else you can jump to the conclusion that this was anything but a very minor accident at this point.

The reason you think there are so many "assholes" on this board is because you come across as a sanctimonious prick.
I think everyone realizes there was a crime. But the punishment you are do school girl giddy about doesn't fit the crime.

That's why the Prosecutor will look to offer testimony from cyclists who were allegedly previously clipped or hit by the same guy (I don't know if anyone was or not - just going off from what someone said on a previous page) . The evidence is offered to show that this wasn't a mistake nor was it an accident...

You've posted this a lot. You haven't provided an ounce of proof that it wasn't an accident.

Then why did he lie and say someone threw a bike at his car?

Didn't you hear? Every single hit and run is premeditated.

In what world does this prove intent?

And running from the scene of an accident is proof that the accident is actually assault with a deadly weapon. That's how the world looks in the cyclist fantasy world.

I don't know he intentionally hit the guy.
I think everything he did after hitting him is both a crime and immoral.
I just don't think a 37 year prison sentence is appropriate.

Funny how he won't call the driver of a car going 15 in a 45, causing everyone else to go around them a douchebag.
Edit: I bet he gets super pissed when people drive slow in the fast lane and calls them douchebags as he's forced to pass them

There is no evidence in the video that it was anything but yet another minor accident in which the driver fled the scene.

It's absurd for a hit and run.

And while I don't bike much on the Parkway, I do probably drive more on the Parkway than most in this forum. I am in Nashville and Natchez usually once a month minimum. The cyclist I encounter may add 30-45 seconds overall to my trip time. This is why I just don't get people being upset about someone out doing something they enjoy and becoming a healthier person for doing it. Their is not enough traffic anywhere, including Jackson, to add much time to anyone's trip. Stop being in such a hurry and just enjoy the ride.

Don't you bring sensibility into the conversation.
People don't want to be inconvenienced, period!
