Just watched the video on how this sucker is landing. Damn a lot of things need to happen...splitting the lander from the probe, supersonic parachute, dropping the heat shield, dropping from the parachute structure and firing blasters, landing upright and not having the parachute structure hit it...damn.

Yep we know it works though because they’ve done it before (the Elvis guy and dude with the Mohawk at mission control became famous after pulling it off)

6 months to get there is pretty cool in itself. I wonder what that would need to be cut down to to start making that feasible for people to make the travel.

There's some really young folks in that room. I feel pretty confident in saying they're smarter than I am.

I like the voiceover from the woman in the room, but everyone there is going "no shite, I know all this".
