Long vacation to Japan
International work assignment before I retire - preferably somewhere like Singapore
Play at a live music venue
Honorable mention would be skydiving but that's easily achievable so I don't know if I'd count it as a bucket list

You’ve obviously NEVER done it.
When you finish, you’re done. Nothing else matters. Just lay back, let the ladies nibble around, and start forgetting their names immediately.

Took a Viking cruise that puts you ashore. There are rules for the Cruise Lines that allow landing parties. It is a fascinating place to step foot on. Enjoyed it so much, I've been twice. A few Lines provide landings, and this one fit our style.

We did it. Crossed the boarder north of Glacier. Went on to Banff, Jasper then across BC to Whitehorse then to Tok, then through Seward, Homer and ended in Anchorage. Cell service always pretty spotty, but we saved the maps and kept the phones on and it somewhat worked most of the time..:until it didn’t!
There’s some pretty sketchy stretches of highway, but join a few travel message boards and you should be able to get some people posting updates. There were times I felt that my insides were going to fall out from truck bouncing around in the potholes, so get ready.
It’s the Wild West out there so be prepared on all fronts.
What will you be driving? And will you be alone?

Good stuff.. how long ago, or recent was it ?
As far as my plans, nothing concrete yet.. i have an older SUV that i might take, or i was thinking of renting a car, esp if i start in the FL Keys.. both to keep the miles off my truck, and also so that if i break down, the rental company will be responsible to come out and fix on their dime .. ive checked Enterprise and apparently you can get a car with unlimited miles and drive in both the US and Canada .. also a while back i looked into some RV rentals so that’s a possibility , plus there are some RV companies that will give you a major discount to drive their RVs from their factories to places they need them to go like Anchorage .
I’ll probably go solo.. im dating someone now, so if that works out and she is able to come (and wants to come)- then that might be nice.. for years wanted to go with my dog a la Travels With Charley but lost him a while back.. so yeah, i prefer solo travel anyway, can go at my own pace and take it all in, meet people along the way and stuff like that .

If only 3 weeks you are much better off spending like a week in 3 different places.. id def recommend Bangkok .. then a beach /island like Koh Lanta, Koh Chang , Koh Lipe et al.. skip Phuket and Koh Samui, both are way overcrowded and America-level expensive at this point .. then maybe Chiang Mai in the north , or Udon Thani.. if it were me though, id skip the north of Thailand and check out Da Nang or another Vietnam city.. or Vientiane in Laos.. . or even KL or Penang in Malaysia .. flights between SE Asian countries are crazy cheap, cheaper than gas to drive from NOLA to Panama City .
.
