Some town or burg up north where it snows a few months out the year. I'd do it now, but I've grown fond of my coworkers and my dog doesn't like the cold as much as I do. Besides, this place ain't that bad at all.

Yeah 2,500/mo is about right. Nicer neighborhoods tend to be $3k plus.

Flagstaff gets to the maximum of 80s in the summer and has skiing with a fairly mild winter. Hour or so from Grand Canyon and trails all over the place.
