I know him. Pretty good dude.

He’s literally a crook and a piece of shite scum of the earth. People say shite like the life he lives as a joke but I’m assuming most pay their bills. Even if they don’t that’s fine that’s their responsibility but not paying your employees insurance and not telling them is gutless. He needs a good beating.

On February 13, Kelly Sills, 47, was reported to have gone past the Disney Springs medical tent without having his temperature checked. Sills was reported to have been yelling at a security manager and waving his arms, according to the sheriff's report. He was arrested after refusing to leave Disney Springs.

So he is a Karen who doesn't pay his bills, and living a fake life on his workers dime.

I could literally watch one of his employees using a bat to rearrange his face and wouldn't vote to convict if I were on that jury.

What he did to his employees is irredeemable just on the fact that he gambled their lives by stealing the money for insurance from their checks and then not providing the insurance that they were depending on.

ETA: Also, I agree 100% that Nakamoto is a spineless coward who refuses to go after the most criminal and corrupt in this city.

Not defending Sills here, BUT wouldn’t this be a claim filed under the company’s workers comp insurance and not his health insurance?

Workers comp isn’t taken out of your check each week. Of course BC/BS denied his claim.

I’m sorry but a “pretty good dude” doesn’t take monthly premium payments out of his employees’ checks but fails to pay for the health insurance plan.

Couldn't be more accurate. And "pretty good dude" is not going to be heard from anyone's lips who know Kelly, but more likely know of Kelly. That's as far as I'm willing to get on this thread.

This does not surprise me one bit.

I've heard stories about him and his penchant for blowing money on hookers and cocaine.

It must have been a slow day in the news; I love how Nakamoto and WBRZ used an old video clip from a Feb. 6 investigative report(Contractor behind emergency Sunshine Bridge repair still owes State Police nearly $900K) to make this current investigative news article. Makes you wonder why people doesn't trust the news nowadays.

I’m not sure if I’d call less than 2 months prior “old”

Who would even come up with that scheme as a reasonably good idea? I mean that company is large enough someone is using their insurance monthly, you don’t pay the premiums and that shites going to come back to you with a quickness. We aren’t talking about something like a 401k or something where you may not have someone retire for 5 years and have time to get away with it. Just an odd sleazy scheme imo.

Not to mention, weird as hell that HR or whoever is normally in charge didn’t know. The owner of a company does not normally directly pay something like this nor get the mail and the reminders that it’s due.

What I'm pointing out is that Nakamoto claimed "we went looking for Sills at his office. Ironically, Sills was sitting at the front desk while walking in...Kelly Sills not wanting to answer questions about not paying his employees health benefits and the nearly $900,000.00 he still owes State Police..."

Did Nakamoto go to Coastal Bridge looking for answers for the 2 incidents during the week of March 26th? Maybe, maybe not, I do know he portrayed from the video that it happened, but the video clip is clearly from Feb. 06. I just think that's sloppy journalism and you lose the public's confidence of news reporting. /rant
