Don't get me wrong, the parents of both children should be very concerned. This is particularly true of the one who initiated what happened.
That said, I don't think this is worthy of the involvement of the news media. Shining a bright light onto whatever podunk Head Start let this happen isn't going to suddenly turn Head Start into a bastion of competence.
As for the involvement of the government, yeah, that probably needs to happen, in some form. But I don't think the kids involved are benefited in any way by a huge public shitshow.

I swear.. And I know this is probably some made up bullshite, but I remember a long time ago.. Maybe when I was in HS or college.. We used to think that Livingston Parish was a bunch of cousin fricking redneck, child molester racist.
And one time we were going to a HS football game in Independence.. Yeah, I was probably my first semester in college.
We were on I12 and it was about 6 or 7 of us in my van and some car swerved and almost hit us and the dude driving my van blew the horn and flipped them off or some shite. They threw a beer bottle at us.
And I think someone with us was like "frick that. follow them" and we followed them. We had our windows down, they did as well and we are on the interstate yelling shite at each other and they take the Denham Springs exit and everyone started yelling shite like "so your dad is also your uncle?"
With that said, there is some fricked up shite that happens in LP.
I can't listen to the podcast anymore because the dude sounds like something is stuck in his throat, but on that real life, real crime podcast there are some fricked up stories and I remember the dude who does it said he asked an Ascension deputy how often do they have to deal with child sex crimes and the deputy told him probably 8-10 times a year? And he couldn't believe it because he said in LP they had about 10 a month.
