Washington and Jefferson owned slaves, therefore we should:
1. Take their faces off Mount Rushmore
2. Get rid of the $1 and $2 bills
3. Take down the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial
4. Rename our Country's capital and one of our States
5. Relocate the capital of Missouri
Lee and Jackson and Davis did much more than just "own slaves".

No wonder that horse seems to be bowing if its owner has that big of a dong he has to throw it over the top the saddle

FROM HIS POST...
You really have to marvel at the way democrats have played blacks for the past 200 years..
You are wrong. THIS is what he said. Now, say you are sorry and we can move forward to the other things.

I'll never forget the day my frail old grandmother pointed that out. That dirty old slut.

so owning them isn't the issue anymore? Have they officially drawn a line in the sand stating this?

so what did Lee, Jackson and Davis do that was so horrific against black people?

Sorry, but no. Here's the entirety of his remarks:
Nope. You are willfully ignoring what was plainly typed.

You really have to marvel at the way democrats have played blacks for the past 200 years.. First they enslaved them, then segregated them when they could no longer enslave them.

I'm sure it's an issue. However, it's a failure in your analogy to say it's the only consideration.

Well you got this part right, at least. They exercised what they felt like were the rights of the states. To secede from the domineering Federal government. A Federal government that they felt was overstepping the restrictions that the Constitution outlined.

I want the NAACP sandblasted. It's served its purpose.
Then who will promote the advancement of colored people?

The same Federal Government that they were so pissed at for not aggressively enforcing the Fugitive Slave Act?

white people...they are the only reason why any of this stuff is even being taken seriously

Yes. I think there is only one Federal government. Unless in all of your learning you know something different. The Fugitive Slave Act was passed by Congress, right?

Slave interests / South dominated US politics until 1860. South was overrepresented in Congress .
1)Federal government that yielded the three fiths compromise that caused the South to be over represented in Congress?
1)Fugitive Slave Act?
3)Dred Scott Decision?
For a brief time their was even a Gag Rule forbidding even the discussion of abolition in Congress
Slave powers dominated Federal politics until 1860 when Lincoln was elected. Then the South wanted to take their ball & go home.

Remembered now by the "heritage" crowd as an "overbearing federal government". What the south really meant was it wasn't overbearing ENOUGH.

Just reread my post and from the sound of it, yes it does sound as if I accused democrats of enslaving blacks. That is wrong and not historically accurate, however I think you missed my overall point of how long democrats have been playing blacks in this country... A more appropriate statement would have been to say that southern democrats went to war for a host of reasons including the right to own blacks as slaves. When they were no longer able to own blacks, they segregated them as second class citizens with Jim Crow laws. When that was ultimately struck down, they somehow managed to turn them into their strongest voting block. Yet how much better are their lives? What has the democratic party actually done for black people? There is no reason in this country, with all the opportunity that is available we should have a group of people trapped in poverty with no means of escape. Flags, and monuments are just easy distractions to keep people from asking real questions. After all, you can't have people questioning what their elected leaders are doing for them. It might threaten your voting block.
