But at the end of the day, you’re still alive in your Eskimo suit with no bullet holes in it.

You need a bunch of street level cameras in New Orleans. Solve crime the way the Europeans do.
Oh, I know, somebody would steal those cameras.

There's something to be said for shared misery bringing people together.

Wouldn't help much. The stupid DA would screw it up and still not prosecute.
I just sat out near City Park and listened for a good 20 minutes as a huge group of motor bikes and muscle cars did doughnuts and made their vehicles backfire. I couldn't tell what roadway they were on, but it was close to I-10. Any normal place and the cops would have been there to run them off.

None of this stupidity. Not being around Sharticia seems pretty damn good to me.

Or they just steal a car.

It's a way to assist in a crime by using a vehicle you have zero connection too. Also helps with leading any potential investigation on a wild goose chase.
It’s no where near untraceable or anonymous.

You love responding to my posts don't ya? Yes, fricktard, stealing a car is also an option. The original point was in reply to gangs not using Uber/Lyft, which absolutely happens. But you looking for those internet points and dont contribute shite to a convo huh?

You might be retarded if you think these thugs, who basically steal cars all the time with impunity, using something as simple as a USB cable, are going through all that effort. Getting a burner phone, buying giftcards, renting a vehicle, etc. take effort and planning. We aren't talking about a covert Mafia or CIA hit. These are brainless impulsive thugs. They see a car and take it. They see a car and shoot it.

What needs to happen is there needs to be about 4 or 5 cars that are bullet proof filled with trained and experienced service men to ride up and down I-10 in Nola East all day and night until one of these shootings happens. WHen it does, chase the car that started the shooting, crash it into the side railing, and unload at a minimum 1000 armor piercing rounds into the car. Leave the car and the pieces of shite inside it to rot and for their buddies to see what's going to happen if they do this crap again.
Keep patroling and do the same thing the next time it happens. I would hope they get the picture by then and stop with this crap.

A suspect is in custody in the fatal double shooting along the I-10 Service Road on Feb. 20 that took the life of a 35-year Uber driver and his passenger, a 21-year-old who appears to have been the intended target, multiple sources said.

Quinn’s long criminal rap sheet and earlier pending charges made him easy to track because the bail bond company that covered his $250,000 bail placed him on electronic monitoring through an ankle bracelet.

Quinn was awaiting trial on charges from November 2022 that include armed robbery with a firearm, being a felon with a firearm, possession of a stolen car and hit-and-run driving. Those pending charges came shortly after Quinn was released from prison after he was sentenced to five years after pleading guilty in 2018 to drug and weapons charges.
