That graph is from 2018. I’d like to see one from either of the last two years. Things are going downhill fast.

Special ed kids have more rights than normal kids.
It is very difficult to have a special ed kid suspended ,even for one day. The principal will just make the teachers re write his behavior plan. This all from the federal government and the department of education. Some of these kids even get to stay in high school until they are 22.
Roger is correct , the administration will not back up the teachers, it is a criminal situation that requires drastic changes. These principals will make excuses for the special ed. student and throw the teacher under the bus. During fights in the hallways between classes I have had to pull kids off the sheriff deputies who were trying to stop the deputies from breaking up fights. I was hit more than several times for doing this. No where was a principal or asst. principal to be seen.
Those special ed. teachers are over weight because of the huge amounts of daily stress they have to deal with. There are actually parents that believe it is the teacher's responsibility to cure Darnell's/Tyneshia's learning disabilities and will get angry at the teacher if it does not happen.
And they all get a crazy check from SS as long as they live.

This is an unacceptable situation that must end and our lawmakers are responsible and must make drastic changes.
First end all the crazy checks, it is being abused by the parents and the school systems. If the child cannot read and do math on a basic level by the 3rd grade they must be put out of the school system. Yes it sounds harsh but allowing them to stay in school only enables this type of behavior and grows the problem exponentially.

This is a FACT. There was a special needs kid that threatened to rape my 15 year old daughter. I called and demanded he be expelled. They said he was "special". I responded that makes him MORE dangerous. What happens when he pulls her into a bathroom and doesnt realize what he is doing before its too late. He got ISS for one day. ONE fricking day.

Love this approach. If you ignore all of society's problems, they'll just magically disappear!

He just don't want to see you say anything negative about this poor kid who is strapped with 300 years of trauma and should be allowed to whoop whitey.

The odds say this punk doesn't have "parents". Probably a Mom with 8 siblings.

sending kids to public school is like sending them to federal prison. sure, there are nicer, white collar facilities, but it's still prison and full of prisoners.

You live on the Internet and consume nothing but negative, bullshite content all day. You have no sense of reality.

But wait, there’s more. This time a single student is attacked by at least six fellow students. Good thing the principal was in the vicinity.

I have a newsflash for you. Videos like what the OP posted are reality. That's not made up and that's not the land of make believe. That's a very real thing that happened, and it's happening at an alarming rate in cities all over the country. The black crime problem is out of control, and ignoring it doesn't make it go away.

Tell you what I just saw. I saw an extremely overgrown child in a man suit throwing a hissy fit because an adult took their toy away. The power to do a man size amount of damage, but the childlike irresponsibility to not have any self control, discipline, or good sense to behave with any civility. Prognosis is it not good for that child’s future. Truth be known, the prognosis for America isn’t as well.

The OP must hit exceptionally close to home given you got ran off from whatever alternative school you "taught" at due to being weak and ineffectual.

Given you clearly live on this shithole, I would suggest the same to you. Rather than consuming and posting Politard content 24/7, log off. Plenty has been written on the subject, educate yourself instead of projecting. Thx.
