I got it from my brain. You said she's lower than me. I said I hope she's not much lower because that's unhealthy.

Last time I posted a photo on health board, they lost their shite at how skinny I am

BMI is a terrible indicator of physical condition and health. It's not a good measure of body fat content and does not take into account muscle mass, bone density, or overall body composition

You don't have to tell me that. I always argue against it as an indicator of that kind of stuff.

But it was an easy counter to Jones's post.

that baby weight comes off like magic for women that breastfeed

Yeah, definitely not the case always. I know a girl that breastfeeds and is noticably bigger than she was pre-pregnancy.

My wife is now 26 weeks pregnant. According to what she read. She only needs like 400 more calories a day then normal for the baby. That's only 20% more then the 2000 a day recommendations.

Nothing like "eating for two"

Have a wife. No kids. And everything I ever say on the OT I say to my wife. She usually just laughs. She's not a fatty or a fat promoter so it doesn't bother her.

Post-graduate embryology had text book normals for the human mammal to gain ~ 20 pounds during a normal pregnancy. The ladies in the class had a conniption fit when that was discussed.

These fat arses use these lame excuses; "eating for 2", "big boned", "water weight", "hormones" etc.

NO ITS NOT! It's your fat arse lifestyle choices and lack of exercise other than putting that spoon in your mouth.

I have one client who had a baby 3 months ago, and she only put on 25 pounds during the pregnancy. Now having eaten a proper diet and getting back into her pre-pregnancy exercise program, she is back to her pre-pregnancy weight.

I have another client who put on 50+ pounds during her pregnancy. She had GAINED another 10 pounds over the last 6 months post delivery. She complains every visit about how the baby weight is slowly coming off (WHAT?! She is gaining weight!) and her husband looks miserable.

You're right, but it's still true.

BMI isn't a good way to gauge the health of fatties or anyone. It's especially bad for people who workout with weights and have good (even above average) muscle mass.

1200-1500'calories spread out over 6 evenly distributed meals is by far enough for the average human to consume daily along with proper cardio and resistance exercise.

No it does not. More than 20% of body weight being fat is unhealthy.

Don't get me wrong, I am fine with the BMI calculator because I'm small. But I could lose 6 more pounds (which would put me at 89lbs) and still not be called underweight. Lol. That's scary.

Eating for 1.1 isn't cute so they round up to 2. Or they just suck at math, equally as plausible.
