But I could lose 6 more pounds (which would put me at 89lbs) and still not be called underweight.

How are you getting a BMI of 19 at 4'8" and 95?

I came home yesterday after work and my wife was laying on the couch watching tv. Which normally she has been walking/running in the afternoons before I get there. (she just had our baby 6 months ago) the conversation went like this:

Me: You aren't going running today?

Her: No, I'm not really seeing results anymore.

Me: Well you damn sure ain't gonna see results laying your arse on the couch all afternoon.

ETA: Its important to keep each other honest and help each other achieve the goals you've set

So much is genetic, bodies respond differently to pregnancy, calories, exercise.

My wife actually lost weight initially, up to about the 6 month mark and started adding. Gained exactly the amount of weight that dr said she should by delivery, but despite diet and exercise it comes off slowly. Alot of this is age dependent too, having a kid at 25 vs 38 makes a difference in weight loss after delivery.

Additionally her sister is pregnant now, and at 4 months in the dr told her she had already gained the amount she should have gained in 9 months... telling her the same thing in OP that continuing to get bigger causes all these risks... but she didn't do anything different than my wife but had totally different experience with weight so far.

People are different.

And yet another thread where Pecker demonstrates that he's shallower than a kiddie pool.
