...and their shameful behavior is putting their babies at risk.

quote:

A national drive to banish the myth that women need to eat for two during pregnancy has been launched following the concerning results of a survey.

A UK poll has revealed that women eat more than they should during pregnancy, placing them and their babies at risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity.
quote:

More than a quarter of pregnant women used the concept of eating for two as justification to consume junk food, the research also revealed.
quote:

NICE, the body responsible for issuing official health advice and guidelines to the NHS, says expectant mums should eat normally for the first six months of their pregnancy and then consume a further 200 calories each day during the final trimester. The recommended calorie intake for most women is 2,000 a day.

quote:

Vice president of education for the RCOG Professor Janice Rymer added: "Women who are overweight during pregnancy are at an increased risk of having a miscarriage and developing conditions such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia.

In my opinion, most chicks that use that excuse are little to begin with. Nothing better that a big tittied, thick thighed prego to stick your penis in. Just make sure it's her first child. After they pass one that hooch is like a hallway.

My mom ate for 4 and my birth is the reason she's in a wheelchair.

I've known too many women who not only stayed in shape during pregnancy, but got back into almost better shape post pregnancy to believe the whole "But I had a baby" excuse.

It's more of a, "I got lazy" excuse.

that baby weight comes off like magic for women that breastfeed

I know someone who delivered her twins at 24 weeks and I'm convinced this, as well as not even remotely taking care of herself before or during pregnancy is what did it. She was eating takeout Chinese like it was going out of business even after the doctor told her that her blood pressure was going up.

She lost one and the other will have physical issues for life. And I'd venture a guess cognitive as well.

Why is a guy that plans on not having kids worried about what a woman does while pregnant?
