Why is a guy that plans on not having kids worried about what a woman does while pregnant?
I'm worried about the unborn children, sir. They deserve better.

my wife gained less than 25 pounds during her pregnancy and returned to her pre-pregnancy weight in 3 months.
And now she's down to 190 lbs and looking great.
You meant to post from your alter account, huh?

They do. Gestational diabetes is something that needs constant attention.

I was trying to get the joke in before someone else could. With the way I worded my post, I opened myself to that kind of comment.

First of all, screw you for bringing me up when not speaking to me.
Second, you might want to get her checked if her BMI is much lower than mine. That's the underweight category. Yikes.

I like bashing their excuses. I actually don't have a problem with people admitting that they're fat because 1) they eat bad and 2) they're lazy. They understand that they've chosen that life and that they're responsible for it.
I have a problem when people say their obesity is due to genetics, an overactive thyroid, bone density, the government, global warming, etc.

Don't have one, but I see why it would look that way. Making the same joke in the original post didn't quite have the panache I was wanting.

The calculator says you're around 21 if I remember your stats right. That's not underweight.
Posted on 8/11/17 at 2:20 pm to LNCHBOX
You don't know my stats. It's 19 currently. I said much lower than mine is underweight. Not that I am. If your wife is much below 19, she's pretty scary low.

I don't really care what the excuse is. We'll just call it "muh thyroid"

I've known too many women who not only stayed in shape during pregnancy, but got back into almost better shape post pregnancy to believe the whole "But I had a baby" excuse.
It's more of a, "I got lazy" excuse.
Word. Mine wife worked out at the gym up until literally the day she went into labor. Was back in the gym 3 weeks and change after the birth.

Sure I do. You just must have lost 10 pounds since June.
