First off, thank you for raising a good young man. I greatly appreciate people who serve.
My son was accepted into the USAFA and I was excited for him all the while knowing I would not see him much again. Unfortunately the academy rescinded the offer due to a minor medical issue.
Again super grateful for the young men who serve. God bless him and your family.

I can absolutely relate. My youngest is just over half way through basic training. He is my youngest, so we really have an empty nest. Don’t know what branch your son is in, but it’s probably universal, that first call will be rough. My son was a little homesick. When he called in week 5, he was an entirely different young man. I say all that to say, it will be fine. And congratulations on raising a fine young man.

appreciate but I don't give the first shite what you or any of these other knuckle draggers Think.

What I said was true, Trump won't get us into any wars so her son will be fine.

So save your comments toward me next time. .

It’s fricking pathetic that you can always turn any thread on any subject into your dumb political bullshite.

If he puts into it what he should, he will get so much more out of it.

Her son is going into the military, I said she doesn't have to worry about him going to war under Trump.

Yes, it does.

You did good, though... take pride in what you raised him to be and comfort in the incredible job you did.

I'm a father of 5, 2 year old twins, 7 8 and 9 year olds. Im dreading their departure. 4 bedrooms and no kids would feel so unbearably empty.

Is this one of those typical millennial posts to express your feelings and not be afraid to cry? I think that’s what they were taught when they got their participation trophies.

If more people had active fathers, the world would be a better place. Great job!

My oldest is off to Bama of all places to get his phd. It’s bittersweet but satisfying knowing you raised your kids right and they are making their own place in the world!
