I'm sitting in my hotel room in Tuscaloosa drinking Woodford. It was a nice wedding. I'm still not happy that my 23 year old son got married, but I have found some acceptance. Wife still trying to get there, but her baby boy is now officially gone.

My younger son, 18, tore it up on the dance floor doing the entire dance from Napoleon Dynamite. The crowd went wild.

My dad, 75, made a bawdy toast that shocked all the locals.

Good times.

Save a sip from that bottle for the divorce. Hopefully it doesn't happen, but if it does, you can at least drink from the same bottle.

well, congrats to you and your boy...all of you just cleared another of life's hurdles. glad the festivities went off well, today is a day that all involved will remember for the rest of your lives.

I think I may just have a little sip of whiskey too!

As the son of a parent who never accepted anything I’ve ever done (unless it was in lock-step to her fricked up religion and desires), please go frick yourself. Hard.
