Forgot to drip my pipes so now they're frozen. High in New Orleans doesn't look like it'll get up above 34 today. Am I fricked?

If you are lucky they will just thaw out and didn't bust. I've had that happen before

Get in where? Under the house or in the attic?

activate some hand warmers and place along the pipe every 18" or so to help thaw out

How do you know where it's frozen? Also I live in a house with about 6 apartments.

Wherever the pipe(s) are/is split open. You will know them when they thaw out and start shooting water all over.

Just tell the people that run your halfway house. Best of luck rejoining society.

How do you know where they are frozen? I have water in half the house but not the other half.

Open the cabinets under sinks that don't have water. Keep your faucets open if you're gonna be home and can listen.

It's possible the pipes froze without busting. If your house has PEX tubing (red and blue) then I'd focus on the main water pipe that's normally copper.

Don't feel bad. I dripped every one of my pipes and the pipes leading to our main bathroom still froze.

Get some hand warmers and tape them to the line about 6” apart. Should thaw it

None of my faucets worked earlier this morning.

I opened all the cabinets, and turned on multiple faucets, including a bathtub, full blast.

Every faucet started working normally about a minute later. I assume I had just a little ice that was cleaned out by they pressure?

I guess I lucked out.

Good luck.
