Average. It didn't look like the women were drinking many, if any.

It would have been easier to hide if they just served pitchers like Hooters. Never more than one or two on the table

You should have walked over and introduced yourself. I would have bought you a beer.

Hibatchi is a misnomer in America. What we call hibatchi, the Japanese call teppanyaki. Hibatchi is a thing, but it's an open grate style of cooking.

Interesting I was only there for a week. I am rocked lots of ramen. I really liked yakiniku

I was only there for three weeks, but food is kind of my thing

If someone opened an okonomiyaki restaurant near campus, they would print money. Nothing like smelling that cooking right on your table after a night of drinking.

I can't really speak for the Travel Board, but several guys on the Money Talk board (particularly the Credit Card thread) were helpful in planning before I went. With that said, if you post details of your trips, I'll certainly do what I can to help you out, assuming I see it

1. Table of about 10 high schoolers, 8 guys, 2 girls. For a 15 minute or so stretch, I did not see one cell phone used at the table. Only towards the end of their dinner did a couple or so whip out the phones.

You spent your dinner judging other people rather than enjoying your meal/the company you were with. You sound miserable.

I have told hostesses specifically not to sit me next to large groups of black people for this very reason. So damn obnoxious and loud in a restaurant

I almost started a huge fight once in a Mexican restaurant telling a group of 6 black women to shut the frick up

Pretty sure it's mostly Mexicans working in the kitchen at most Asian restaurants.

When you've been married as long as I have, you'll find your entertainment in watching others. The wife was fine with this.
