I tell them this shite is only worth 7-8 bucks a month to me. If you can’t get it to that, I say, “ cut it off “. They then somehow come up with a 6 month promotion for 42 dollars.

I bought my lifetime subscription around 2007 as well. The few times I have switched trucks since then have been fun when the rep tries to tell me that they dont honor it any longer. After an escalation or two, I'm back in business.

Dang, how much was the lifetime? We got $3.99/mo for 3 years. It's in the family ride, so I jumped on it. Plus it gives a break from the threatening to cancel every year conversation.

I haven't paid more than 7$ a month for 10 plus years. They will call you and tell them what you want to pay for the next two years. Same process two years later....

Different infrastructure though. Sirius is the only one doing what they're doing and using satellite. Part or the main reason they merged with XM radio IIRC. Content-wise, there's no argument. Netflix has produced some legitimate hits.

I got $65 for the year last time and I didn’t even have to call. Went and cancelled online and they gave me the “before you go…” offer.
