Two sides to every story.

There are a litany of possibilities, the most likely of which is she cheated. If that's not your first thought then you are naive.
Out of curiosity, why is that most likely? We all have fantastical ideas of how we'd react to cheating, but chances are, most wouldn't have the balls to react that way if it's the one and only reason and they still wanted to marry the person up until that point.
They might call off the wedding, but unless he found out that same day, seems weird.

maybe he was sent a video/pics of her bachelorette party from the previous night, at the last minute

Possible.
What's highly unlikely is the story going down exactly as the bride told it. But she'll have no shortage of friends eating it up.

There are 2 sides but to these women
1. their friend that got screwed over
2. The guy that screwed her over for no reason

this, or someone had to get something off his chest before he said "I do"...like "I slept with her", "I saw her with another guy"
but all this is a BS scenerio due to one mistake made in the OP
quote:
"I do" question, he said "I don't" and left.
they don't say "Do you" anymore, they say "will you"
because "I DO is what you are doing at the moment, I WILL is on going and a choice."
so the story about I do is in fact false, unless it's about a wedding years ago

Wait for it to die down then fire up the dixie chicks, ready to run.
Posted on 7/1/14 at 11:40 am to Spaceman Spiff
Why give them reasons why some other dude left? Maybe the chick is a real beotch, who knows. I would not want to stir up that twatnest anymore than necessary

I bet one of the groomsman or best man showed him pics of the batchlorette party and groom said. Oh hell no.

Tell them "look at the bright side, at least she can now get free contraception through her employ..... oh wait, nevermind".

only 17% currently "do", according to a wedding survey....so I guess. But odds are that a guy made up the story and isn't hip to the current trend

As I said earlier, after I walked into the office it started. I don't follow the current "trend" as I am not a wedding planner or the like, but I just posted what I heard. Not asking you believe/disbelieve. That's up to you.

I know someone that didn't get left at the alter but the guy decided the night before the wedding he wasn't ready to get married and ditched. Chitty part was the wedding was a beach wedding in Destin where both families and friends were there for several days before hand doing pre wedding shite. Dick move to wait until that late to decide you don't want to go through with it.

still probably better in the long run, if you're unsure about it, worst case, was everyone got a mini vacation in Destin

Odds are that the exact wording is irrelevent to the story.

Better to be a dick and ditch the wedding the day before instead of marrying someone you don't want just because you don't want to inconvenience everyone that traveled. The wedding is about the two people getting married, not the guests.
