Tell them to stop being crazy count. That will calm them down.

He shouldn't have made her get into her wedding gown to say no. Just not right.
I reserve the option to disagree here. If she in fact did "stray" during the engagement period, then, considering he likely spent a nice sum of money on a ring (at least in relation to his income), she deserves the humiliation.
Now, I will agree that if he just decided he wasn't ready to commit to her, then yeh, he's pretty much an arse.

They are going crazy and on a man-bashing rage because one of the girl's friend was left at the altar - making the office less than cozy. Seems that when he was asked the "I do" question, he said "I don't" and left.
I told them there is always a different side to any story and that maybe he had good reason - like maybe he found out she cheated and used it as revenge. Apparantly women don't like to be told those kind of things and went on another rant...
I know they can't be reasoned with, but what are some good reasons I can give?
Nothing good can come from you interjecting yourself into their conversation. I'd stay as far away from that conversation as possible. Remember these old words of wisdom when it comes to arguing with women (especially a group of them)....
"To win is to lose, there is no win."

dick move no matter the circumstances.
I will allow that it would have been o.k. for him to send wedding uninvitations to everyone on the list advising the wedding is called off due to her being a nasty slut, reception to follow.

good luck reasoning with women.
The best thing you can do is agree with everything they say no matter how stupid it is and they will go away. Women love drama and bullshite and an excuse to fight. If you just agree with them constantly they stop and go find someone else.

No way did he do that in front of her friends and family. No. fricking. Way.
There are some real good reasons as to why he didn't want to get married:
1) he doesn't want to have the same smash piece for the rest of his life;
2) he's sane.

Just tell them the ex-bride is a bad gambler. She had a 50/50 shot the guy would say yes. She lost.

Truer words have never been spoken...if I had only had that advice before starting round 3...
I told one of the cooler ones that the story has to be BS and there is more than what is being let on - want to guess what happens? I hear her typing and then someone brings it up again...

I have gotten one of these before; not because of anything either side did, but because of some mutually cold feet.

I would file a complaint of sexual discrimination in the workplace on everyone of them. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Don't move. They can't see you if you don't move.

Tell them it reminds you of the movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral. If it's okay for Hugh Grant to follow his heart, why is it wrong for this fella?

Not if her daddy paid for the wedding.

What you should have done when you noticed the estrogen mob forming:
Since you weren't smart enough to do the above I now recommend:
Good luck brother.
