Il pay the extra 20 bucks for barbells and 100 lb dumbbells with no judgmental "lunk alarm." To each their own I guess.

They set an alarm off if they see someone doing skull crushers?? Not being allowed to perform a certain lift is weird to be but the fact that they set an actual alarm off for everyone to hear is absurd. Why can't an employee just walk up to the person and ask them not to do whatever rule they are breaking. I would never pay to be a member of a gym that uses a fricking alarm

Bro, I set off alarms all week. It's what I do. Is that an alarm I hear...in your GF's panties?

Since it's a "Judgement Free Zone" will they judge me if my balls hang out the bottom of my shorts when I squat? Since I hit 30 my balls are a lot lower than they used to be.

I would guess no since I don't think squats are allowed.

I did dumbell squats this morning. Also did pistol squats and smith machine squats.

Well that's acceptable. Will they judge a low hanging sack? Life without squats is no life I want to live.

I've been to the Lafayette location one time while visiting and it sucked.

After my workout, I was simply looking to weigh myself and I asked the employees where the scale is.... "sorry, sir, we don't have a scale here." I said this is a gym and y'all don't have a scale?

Their water is good though.

What other issues did you have other than the lack of a scale?

Too much open space in the 'free weights' section, and all the machines are tightly congested. You only get about 2-3 machines per body part which is clearly not enough during peak hours. Also, no stairmaster. They have 100s of treadmills, not 1 stairmaster.

That and the feeling of not being able to workout hard.

I like Sabi so I'm gonna post in his thread.

Anyone ever been or heard of Orange Theory Fitness? I've been doing it about two months and I really like it.
