Just feed the kittens to your Rottweiler. The dog obviously has a taste for feline meat and will save you a lot of time and trouble. Too many fricking cats in the world anyway.

I’m glad to read that you are taking responsibility for those kittens, you should. Do it right, you’ve been given some good advice in this thread. Embrace it and take pride that you did the right thing by saving their lives. Good luck, I hope you find good homes for them.

Are you in Baton Rouge? Get in touch with a girl named Abby from Cat Haven.
If you’re willing to bottle feed and foster them until they’re ready, they will vaccinate and whatnot for free and ultimately take them into the adoption house to be adopted out.
I kept mine for 10 weeks and they were all adopted out within a couple days of Cat Haven taking them.

Ask around for someone with a mother cat. We had 1 that would take in and nurse any stray kitten my daughter brought to the farm.

Also, I don't think you should try to keep all of them. If you end up trying to feed/grow them, you may want to ask friends and acquaintances to each take one. Ask around, you'd be surprised how much people might want to help once they find out the story. Also, it's much easier to do one than to try to do all four.

No, I live near Abita Springs, but a young couple down the road from me said they would take two right now. I’m waiting for the couple to come over and pick out which ones they want.
