Nah. This is more of a lesson for those with young kids. Raise them to not be liberals. If you are not deliberate, you end up with a person who doesn’t know any better - a liberal.

Tell her to move from St Louis

Wacked out daughters are not high on my list of folks I wanted armed, but that's just me.

I’ve never had a dog that I knew would die for me except for my GSD.
It’s an incredibly loyal breed.

My daughter is a wacked-out screaming liberal who told her husband she never wanted a gun in their house. However, now she has reconsidered
Well, I'd tell her to NOT get any kind of gun. She knows and believes that guns kill people, so why take the chance that a gun might decide to jump up and shoot her or some other family member? Tell her it's not worth the risk.

Tell her to ask her husband.
This would disappoint me more than her choice of being a woke liberal.
I could deal with it more if she were married to a stronger more independent but leans right type of guy.
This guy doesn’t own any tools or cut his lawn does he?
Can he at least change a tire and not try to fill it up with propane? I guess this is the baseline now for men.

Outside Security
Make sure she is in an old neighborhood with lots of folks over 65 (over 85 is a bonus) as that is the best security she can get and it will be free. Old people are up day and night and they love to peer through their windows and see what's happening outside.
Indoor Security
Get her a dog. I hear folks talking "Breed of Peace" that appears so devoted it will eat the backside up to any no good criminal or stalker.

S&W 351C .22 revolver, keep it simple.
Besides the fact that she probably will never encounter a shooting situation is the fact that she will probably never actually fire. She may as well have something easy to learn on at the range

I told her to buy a semi-automatic youth model 20 gauge shotgun. My reasoning is that the size would be easier for a woman to handle and it would not kick too badly. Also it would be easier to just pull the trigger when she wants to fire it without having to pump out the spent shell.
Perfect

Give her the red pill, she’s ready

The best fit for her hand(s) is key.
My wife is not pro gun, but not anti gun. She would never own one until she inherited a 38 revolver from her brother (he ate a bullet out of it). Suddenly, she said, "Wow, this fits my hand perfectly and I wouldn't have to fear anyone ever." Just like that she got into shooting.
She will either fire a shotgun before it gets to her shoulder or not think to take it off safety
