after reading her history lesson about Europe colonizing Africa and how the Africans were treated. I hate that she hurts, but I really believe that compassionate heart of hers is going to change the world one day. <3

You could show her examples of such behavior throughout the entirety of human history.
Then show her the 20th century to now, and teach her we grow and improve as people.
Maybe make her feel better. My 9 year old daughter is overly sensitive and caring like that. It's a great trait, but can get them in trouble later.

Oh boy. She should read about how the Romans treated the Europeans, or how the Africans treated the Africans, or how the Egyptians treated other Africans.

You should teach her that evil exists in the world and often is normalized for various reasons. You should also teach her that sub-Saharan african cultures are trash and there’s a reason that they’re still living in huts.
