OP, this is a really good idea.

I thought the same thing until I realized Sampson is the one who picked up the check.

Typically cops must acquire a good mailing address and phone number when issuing a citation because the subpoena must be sent somewhere. He may have given the cop information you don’t have.

Godspeed. I hope you find your brother.

But you should have created an alternate handle for this.

Have you been to the place he was supposed to move into?

Or even confirmed that was a real thing?

They had three incidents on 9/1/21:

A narcotics arrest
A vandalism arrest
And a missing person that was located

Who has the kid / kids? Does he pay child support? Has he been paying child support?

If he pays child support, could you trace those payments to the account that he pays from and potential gain access to recent statements?

If he is delinquent on payments, is that a crime that could be reported to potentially gain access to recent statements?

Praying for your brother

I didn’t intend to “beat them up.” The detective has been as helpful as he can be and very transparent about everything. Returned my calls, taken time. It’s just been personally frustrating that there isn’t a “3rd bucket” that my brother could fall in, but I know what’s high priority for me isn’t high priority for them and I understand why. I’m getting up early and haven’t had much sleep this weekend at all, drained. I will follow up with more answers tomorrow and keep y’all posted. Again, I appreciate everything.

I read it that Sampson picked up the check when he was down there. Maybe he will come back and straighten it out. I’m hoping Sampson didn’t because it is a good idea.

Don’t want to derail but:

quote:

4– he swung by his place of employment the morning of 8/28 to pick up his check, speak to his employer about the nature of his injuries, and give a timeline for when he would be able to return to work

I just looked at your brother's Facebook and he was working at Hennesy's when I lived in Hermosa. I ate there a lot and no doubt crossed paths with him but don't remember him. We always had the same waitress there because she was the sister of a friend of ours.

You really need to go talk to the staff at every bar and restaurant on the pier.

Those are arrests. Not citations. A citation could be for not picking up dog poop.

He literally says his brother talked to his employer about when he could return to work

Sampson's IRL info has been shared here by him before. We got some great GIFs out of one of his performance college pieces.

You say that you only have help in all this from 1 other person. Where is the ex and your parents in all this? Seems like a lot for a brother to take on by himself.

No, they are incidents, not arrests, #3 is missing person found, hardly an arrest
