Such an awesome story of how this was found. I followed this thread and subscribe to SWU but probably would have never watched the video if not for this thread and you mentioning a video where he was alive. The fact that you knew about this thread, had been subscribed to SWU and actually watched the video, and then put the pieces together….is incredible

Charlie has found him! I just spoke to him and he’s 100% on board with getting out of there and getting help! He’s staying at Charlie’s house tonight and I’m flying out tomorrow to pick him up. This is the biggest relief of my life. So happy man. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and your family

So happy to hear this. After watching the YouTube video I was worried he’d become content with his future. If I remember correctly his son is in his teens now. Remind him that once he turns 18, mom has no say. He needs to be clean for that!!
He has a ton to look forward to in the future. Good luck to both of you, and if Charlie ever comes to Baton Rouge, I have a Ruth’s Chris dinner waiting on him!! That’s a true friend right there!!
