Neither does anyone that gets hooked on opioids the first time. They are usually given to them by a medical professional. It fricks up anybidy and everyone from all walks of life.

As someone who has been through this, your brother is dealing with addiction.

Others have posted, good chance he’s actually not dead from od after this long. He would have been found unless out in the damn woods alone.

I’ve been on benders and been ashamed and depressed after and just avoided people. Not for this long, but it happens,

It’s not news you probably want to hear but it’s prob the closest to what’s happening.

You guys linking a narcotics citation with no name at 16:57 and an arrest record with no information at 17:29?

Quite the leap.

Those are two separate events.

Both are correct. I’m doing some research. There are multiple “Curry’s” listed on the property records. John B, Joan, and Maureen. They are likely the owners of property or have a long rental history there. Worth calling to find out if OP’s brother recently rented.

Might be worth a call to check in with the neighbors to see if any headway could be made if the landlord is a dead end. Hispanics are all about family and will certainly help if they can at all.

Last name and month/year of birth. It doesn’t get much closer than that. And a unique last name to boot. It’s encouraging.

OP, you mentioned college and the GI bill. If he is enrolled, and “HE” has his information, the veteran would be able to call into the Department of Veteran’s Affairs assistance line. The Veteran, who will be the one calling in and providing the VA rep all the Veteran’s information by way of telephone…. Will receive assistance with said veteran accessing his payment records, updated address if updated, and whether this veteran re-enrolled in the Post-9/11 program.

The college angle makes sense as there are 2 nearby in El Camino College and Los Angeles Southwest College.

LASC Classes begin:

El CC classes begin:

These types of threads always amaze me at the autistic sleuths of the OT.

Good job guys - so far.

I am still waiting on the OT to find Gabby’s boyfriend.

I would have him declared legally dead. When the drug money runs out he may attempt to restart his life. Odds are he would HAVE to call somebody at home to do this.

If he is dead, I would not think it was OD or anything outside of foul play. It would be quite simple to identify him if his body was found. Dead bodies don't usually lie around cities for a month. They do produce an unpleasant odor after all.

It is extremely likely he was transported to the hospital without his ID, and is in some way alive, but non-responsive. Nurses can't identify patients through their finger prints or dental records and can no longer involve the police with identifying a living patient. They also can't use social media to ask his friends what might have happened to him.

My guess is that he came to an untimely end through misadventure, he was murdered and his body was hidden, or he is on the ventilator in an ICU somewhere.

He's dead or out of the country.

My guess is they'll find a suicide note pinned to his body soon enough.

taking time off due to injuries / confirmed no bank or credit activity? / no phone activity with phone at police station / friends don’t know where he is

Is the PI checking rehab facilities? If so how? Seems like a perfect time write them a check for a month and move in. Would have to be nearby given transportation limits without the car.

Did he have an appointment to get the stitches removed with the same hospital? If so do we know if he made it to that appointment? Not sure what you would do with this information other than extend the timeline but if I had stitches on my face I’m wanting them out quick.

Death - hard to think no one would know by now especially with a PI working it.

I haven't read the entirety of this thread, but the first thing that pops into my mind is TBI and amnesia of some kind. I'm sure you checked all the local hospitals. Check homeless shelters, areas they populate. Have any of his credit cards been used?

Prayers for safe return. Sorry you're having to experience this.

Has the local VA hospital and doctors offices been checked out? As a veteran I would seek treatment there after the initial ER visit. Especially with broken ribs.
I will be following this thread and pray for good news soon brother.

They’d be unlikely to release that information but that’s why I suggested the veteran calling in. VA rep will ask a couple basic questions. If OP has that info, he can call the VA assistance line and find out what he needs to if he has any updated info w the VA.

If you will look at the citation the reason there is no housing listed is because he was released an hour after the booking. They don’t assign housing if they release you.
