You need to do some volunteer work. If you feel you can't help yourself, try helping others. You'll be surprised.
Go to a local animal shelter and offer help, go to something like Habitat for Humanity, something, anything.

Have you read Man's Search for Meaning?
The "I'm not reading it" summary is this: As long has a man has an answer to "why should I keep living?", he can cope with any "how can I keep living?"
You need a "Why", and that "why" has to be bigger than yourself.

In December of last year I was in a small plane crash that killed everyone on board except me. I was burned on 75% of my body and given less than a 50% chance of living. I’m scarred and broken all over but I grind and fight everyday because each day is still a gift. I’ve learned to offer up my worst days as a sacrifice for others so they may get closer to God.
You’ll be in my prayers but remember- fight hour arse off

Just remind yourself that the bright side of death is that you'll never have to read another OweO post again.
You'll feel better.

You can travel pretty much anywhere by car or boat. Man up. Stop being a bitch. Everyone has their problems and limitations. Stop letting yours define who you are.

I understand what you're trying to say but how am I supposed to feel? The next time I get on an airplane I could end up dying and no stupid doctor seems to care. They all think its mental, it's not mental. Yet if you take travel away from me I'm completely dead inside anyway. Travel is the one thing that has brought me joy in the last 5 years or so and now I'm losing it.
Drive
Enjoy the scenery
Enjoy stopping in small towns & visiting local restaurants & attractions
Find a hobby

There are a million things you could do if you gave them a chance

I had a stroke and lost the use of half my body.
But I didn't give up, and today I have nice hair.
I mean REALLY nice

That is a problem man. I like to travel too, but their is so much more in this world to enjoy and be grateful for. Broaden yourself and you will get more joy and more fulfillment.
Don't give up. Sounds like you have been dealt a bad hand and i don't blame you for complaining about it.
Easier said than done...you've got to find joy that isn't circumstantial. You have a lot of circumstances that suck right now but i know there has to be things in your life that you can be grateful for. I don't know if you are a Christian, but my belief and relationship with God helps my joy to not be circumstantial. Again...I know that is easier said than done. Sounds like it would be worth a try for you though.

You do make a very good point. Part of why I probably feel this way is that I don't have a "why". Why should I keep living? I have no clue. No one depends on me. I'm not married, I have no kids, if I died I wouldn't be directly hurting anyone else.
But that is probably a big part of the problem. You ask me why should I keep living and I can't honestly give you an answer to that right now.

Really? Care to tell me how I'm going to drive or take a boat to Europe? Or Australia? Or Japan? China? Brazil? How exactly is that going to work again?

You need to see a counselor ASAP. That should be your first step. It seems like a lot, but you can overcome this and there's no shame in asking for help. Just take it one step at a time. All is not lost.

Did you post this a few years ago? I'm almost positive I've read this before.

Better watch. My post where I told him to be a man was deleted.

Last night was bad for me. If I could've traded places with your friend I would've. I would've had to apologize at first though for giving him a defective body.

FWIW, most people can't afford to go to those places anyway. I would think most of those people don't see that as a dealbreaker as to if they should live any longer.
Not trying to be insensitive, but some context sounds needed.
