The beltloops don't hold the belt up. They keep the belt attached to the pants to make the belt hold the pants up.

Is this the picture of the guy posted the other day that everyone was talking about how he was the greatest comedian ever or some shite? Because I hope this isn't his best work, whoever he is.

I've heard a bunch of his shows and he was definitely at his best when he was not drunk. But yeah he made most of his money on the delivery rather than the content of his jokes. Most comedians are that way though if you think about it.
