I sincerely try to help, but people will continue to believe what they want to believe. They'll say they have "full coverage" and pay x a month but truly have no clue what that actually means.,

In this instance, I was just trying to help figure out the dividend situation. Glad he got it figured out. Babytac doesn't own shite so anything he says should be ignored

im married to an agent...trust me I understand completely

I have 2 vehicles. It’s about $300 a month for each. Written under same policy.

That is crazy.

I live in rural Oklahoma.

We have a 2022 Lexus RX 350 and a 2023 Chevy Silverado.

$1000 deductible on both comprehensive and collision.

$180 / month total, not each. State Farm.

Rates are much different in OK. What are your liability limits?

Liability: $50K / $100K / $50K

Uninsured: $50K / $100K

Medical: $5K

And this is my point. You said what he's paying is crazy compared to what you're paying, but he has 20 TIMES the amount of liability coverage than you do.

Just FYI, I clicked to have mine mailed to me and since I used to have multiple policies they sent the checks in 5 envelopes that look like marketing mail. I can’t imagine how many throw them away.

True, I didn't see him mention UM so I wasn't sure if it matched his liability but if it does, it's very pricey.

You will take the shirts off many of these people’s backs if they find themselves in a suit

It more often happens the other way. They get smoked by one of their fellow underinsureds (or uninsured) then have little to no UM and I have to have a difficult conversation with them.

Got my email yesterday. $300 a month for me and the Mrs. and got a $130 dividend.

Friendly reminder that auto is ok with State Farm but under no circumstances should you ever have State Farm homeowners. They are criminal. Not Allstate criminal but close.
