Well, well, well….my FIL, a good man, has his tv volume up to 80 while I have the same tv and I view programs on 18-20. He has hearing aids but hates them. So, I can watch tv with him for bout 30 mins before I start feeling nauseous ??. Luckily he falls asleep for 30-40 minute intervals and I can get some relief sometimes. He also has a headset he can use but won’t most of the time. Love him anyway….

I noticed my grandparents were doing that and they said they could never hear the dialogue. So one Christmas I bought them a sound bar w/sub .. That was a fricking mistake. You could hear that shite from across the street and it sounded like someone was being attacked.

When my in laws lived with us, my mother in law had Fox News cranked up. I bought her these Sony TV headphones.

This is so funny...It's 100 outside and that's cooler than inside my parents house! And my Dad has run out of Westerns to watch! So he cuts his grass twice a week!!!
