Sounds like this is gap insurance. To cover what Medicare doesn't. My FIL is 84 and his premium just went up to $200 a month.

How is that taking advantage of seniors? Is charging more auto insurance to young/ inexperienced drivers taking advantage of them? No, its capitalism.
As people get older, their chances of stroke and heart attack increases. The care associated with these conditions is very expensive.
