He's smart when he stays in his 5 year old lane, and he's very inquisitive as one would expect and appreciate. But he's also that guy who will constantly say "did you know" followed by completely made up nonsense, and respond to being told something correct with "ackshually" followed by more made up nonsense.

Trying to foster his curiosity while also preventing him from turning into that kid none of his peers want to hang out with because he does nothing but correct them or tell them stuff they don't care about.

He also likes to ask people questions that have no legit answer and then tell them they're wrong no matter how they respond. It's annoying and I want to start being blunt about it, but I don't want to crush the guy.

I come to the board full of know it all assholes to give me their expert opinion on this particular subject.

Everyone thinks their kid is smart. I mean, I KNOW mine is but most people think that.

This pretty much sums up my experience with my 5 year old.

It’s cute but at the same time testing the shite out of my patience.

I have checked him a couple times just because I’m worried he will turn into a know-it-all.

My 5 y/o girl I’d like this, thinks she knows everything, not even a teenager yet.
